NFL 2020 Draft: First round as it happened

Welcome to The Sports Despatch’s coverage of the NFL 2020 Draft. It was a fun first round that got off to a bit of a slow start without the exciting trade action the Lions had been promising.

But it turned out to be an eventful opening round, with some teams rebuilding well, and others implementing their succession plans, and one more trading back like they always seem to. So take a deep breath and relive all the action as it happened below.
