The New York Jets ended their season on a “high” as they downed the Patriots 17-3 to end the season at 7-10.
Jets star RB Breece Hall rushed for 178 yards on 37 carries and the games only touchdown as New York completed a season that they had such high hopes for with yet another missed playoffs.
Jets will hope Rodgers can save them next season
With Jets starter Trevor Siemian only managing 70 yards on 8/20 passing, Aaron Rodgers was the only QB being discussed by NY fans before, after, and during the game.
For the Patriots, legendary head coach Bill Belichick looks to have coached his last game with New England. “A disappointing year for all of us — players, coaches, staffers, the entire organization,” Belichick said. “As far as the future goes, I’ll sit down with Patriots owner Robert Kraft as I do every year at some point.”
“That’s all I have to say about that right now, because that’s all there is to talk about.”
When asked if he would hang up the clipboard Belichick was unusually verbose. “No, I enjoy coaching. Disappointing season. That’s how I feel,” Belichick said. “The results weren’t good. None of us were happy with those.”
