Kirk Cousins is throwing again and the Vikings seem like his number one choice.
Cousins has already stated his preference is to return to Minnesota this season, but there shouldn’t be too much hype around the possibility of him taking a team-friendly over.
Vikings have competition from the Raiders
New Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce has made no secret of his desire for a quality QB to build his team around and Kirk Cousins would certainly fit that bill. Other than Russell Wilson, Justin Fields, and Ryan Tannehill there seems to be little quality out there.
So give that, the Vikings would be wise to pull the trigger and get Cousins back in the building ASAP. Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell will surely value Cousins qualities a little more after the debacle they faced at the position after he went down last season.
As much as Cousins has had his detractors in the past, his value was made much clearer in his absence.
