Texans rookie QB CJ Stroud move imperiously closer to the offensive rookie of the year award that is surely his with another stunning performance as the Texans beat the Tennessee Titans 26-3.
Stroud threw for 213-yards and a score and Devin Singletary added 80-yards on the ground as the Texans kept themselves alive in the hunt for the AFC South title.
Texans look to have a great one in Stroud
Despite being a rookie Stroud continues to do and say all the right things. “The time is now,” he said. “It’s not next year. It’s not the year after that. It’s right now. We have the opportunity to control our own destiny so I’m excited to do that.”
“He raises everyone’s level of confidence because everyone knows the type of player that he is,” Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said. “He’s a big-time playmaker and he continues to show it week after week. We’re all excited to have C.J. back because he’s a really great player.”
The Titans continued to flounder their way through the 2023 NFL season.
