The Baltimore Ravens rebounded from their disappointing collapse against the Cleveland Browns with a comfortable 34-20 win over division rivals Cincinnati.
Bengals QB Joe Burrow left the game in the second quarter with a wrist injury, a story that may run on for a while after Burrow appeared to be wearing a wrist brace before the game, but wasn’t listed on the Bengals injury report all week.
RAVENS CRUISE TO 8-3
While most things on the field when the Ravens way, one thing that clearly didn’t was what appeared to be a serious ankle injury. QB Lamar Jackson voiced his disappointment after the game, “That’s very tough because that’s my boy,” Jackson said. “That’s like receiver one sometimes.”
Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh announced after the game that Andrews injury appears to be season-ending. “Mark Andrews has a very serious ankle injury,” Harbaugh said. “It looks like a season-ending injury. Our prayers will be with Mark. Nobody cares more about the team and being there for the guys than Mark Andrews, so this is going to be hard for him, but we’re going to be there for him all the way.”
Andrews will be a big loss for the Ravens going forward as he leads the team with 6 receiving touchdowns, and is second on the team with 45 catches, and also second with 544 yards.
