The Baltimore Ravens continued their seemingly inevitable march to the Super Bowl with an impressive and comprehensive beating of one of the NFL’s feel good teams of 2023.
The Ravens defence clamped down on the Texans, and rookie sensation QB CJ Stroud, holding them to just 213-yards of total offence. Lamar Jackson paced the Ravens with 152-yards passing and 2 scores and 100-yards rushing and another 2 scores.
Ravens only looking forward
“Credit to Lamar,” Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said. “He made a ton of great plays. That’s why he’s the MVP.”
“Our fans are going to get a chance to cheer just as loud or louder than they did in this game, and they were amazing,” Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said. “I thought our fans were incredible. Man, it was deafening out there.”
It was the end of an incredible turnaround season for the Houston Texans who went 3-13-1 last year, and completed this season 10-7. But the Ravens are a completely different beast and showed Houston just how far they still have to go.
