The Carolina Panthers continued to retool their offence by selecting the best running back in this years class with the 46th Overall pick.
Texas Longhorn Jonathon Brooks may have only been a one-year starter, but he average 6.1-yards per carry and scoring 10 touchdowns. A staggering 984 of his rushing yards were made after first contact.
Panthers retooling around Bryce Young
PFF had this to say about the RB, “Brooks is an ideal blend of size, speed, strength and agility. Though limited in snap totals, he has good vision in both gap and zone run schemes. If he can get back to form following his torn ACL, he has all the goods to be a starting running back in the NFL.”
Panthers head coach Dave Canales has made it his goal this offseason to bring the best out of Bryce Young after he had a very rough rookie campaign. With the first two days of picks in the books, they can be little doubt that they finally have some offensive weapons.
