Justin Fields days in Chicago look numbered as the former Bears first rounder looks set to be replaced by Caleb Williams.
Fields follows hot on the heels of failed QB Mitchell Trubisky in Chicago, as the Bears continue to be QB killers. But with head coach Matt Eberflus somehow surviving the chop, it seems like it will be Justin Fields who will be looking for greener pastures.
Justin Fields growth, cheap contract intriguing
Justin Fields growth over his three years in the NFL is obvious for anyone watching, and when you couple that with the Bears lack of protection and lack of receiving talent it’s not an unimpressive growth.

But where would Fields fit?
Atlanta seems to be a very good option. With a new head coach in Raheem Morris the Falcons look to be a QB away from genuinely competing. They only just cam up short with a combination of Desmond Ridder and Taylor Heinicke platooning at QB, and Fields is a massive upgrade there.
Washington is another possible spot, but after trading away some solid defensive pieces last year they need more than a QB to compete, so probably out of the question.
Denver is an option, but after the Russell Wilson debacle, it’s hard to see head coach Sean Payton wanting a player of Justin Fields skillset.
One interesting, outside the box idea would be New England, new head coach in Jerod Mayo, strong defence much the same as Atlanta. Except that the Patriots aren’t competing in the AFC East without some major overhauls of that offence.
