PFF had this to say about the Eagles new corner, “Mitchell put some of the best advanced coverage metrics PFF has ever recorded over a two-year sample size. He has all the ability in the world to be a CB1 at the next level.”
Eagles GM Howie Roseman was impressed with Mitchell’s performance at the Senior Bowl. “When he got in people’s faces at the Senior Bowl, we thought he was one of the best players at the Senior Bowl,” Roseman said. “Against really good competition, against a really good receiving class, we’ll see a bunch of those guys come off today and we’ll see a bunch of those guys come off tomorrow.”
