The Dallas Cowboys moved to 11-5, with a perfect home record on the season, on the back of a 227-yard 1 TD performance from CeeDee Lamb.
With the Cowboys padding their lead to 7 points with 1:41 left in the fourth, it looked all over. But the Lions drove down the field and scored a TD to pull to within 1 point. And then all hell broke loose.
COWBOYS HOLD ON
The Lions have been aggressive on offense all season and with a chance to tie the game on an extra point or go for the win with a two-point conversion they had no doubts. “I told the offense that we were going down, 1:41 left, we’re going to go down and score and then we’re going to go for 2 and finish this game off,” Lions head coach Dan Campbell said. “I told them that, and so that’s what we’re doing.”
When asked about the “Illegal touching penalty on Decker, called because he failed to declare himself eligible to the officials, Campbell said “I don’t want to talk about it.”
Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb has just edged ahead for the NFL’s leader receiver on the season with 1,651 yards, just 48 ahead of Tyreek Hill who plays on Sunday against the Ravens.
