The Arizona Cardinals have sailed mostly under the radar this offseason. But the additions of rookie Marvin Harrison Jr, and veteran WR Zay Jones could give the Arizona offence an edge this season.
“He’s really a three-position guy,” Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said of Jones. “He can play it all. He’s smart enough to play all of it. Anytime you add a smart vet that does things the way that you want them done as a team-first guy, that helps,” Gannon added. “It kind of sets an example.”
Cardinals looking for full season from Murray
“I love relationships with people,” Jones said. “I’ve taken something or learned something from the majority of people that I’ve played with and it’s been really special to me.”
One of the keys to the Cardinals success will be getting franchise QB Kyler Murray back to full fitness and bringing his team together around him. “He seems like a great leader,” Jones said of Murray. “Just has a way about himself that he carries himself that I admire.”
“Just the way he spins it,” Jones said. “He’s got a beautiful touch of the football, just pretty off the hand and it’s very catchable from what I can see so far.
“So, really excited to work with him and keep talking with him and even just learn from him and how he sees the game.”
