Bears target Caleb Williams put on a show at his pro day, ahead of what is expected to be his selection at the NFL Draft in April.
“I wanted to come out here and put on a show,” Williams said. “I think it went well.”
New Bears WR Keenan Allen was on hand and hugged Williams before the QB began. Bears GM Ryan Poles and head coach Matt Eberflus were in attendance as well and even met with the QB’s parents.

Asked whether he would be the number one pick Williams said, “It’s not a thought in my mind. I don’t think I’m not going to be No. 1. I’ve put in all the hard work. I don’t think of a Plan B.”
Chicago officials had already met with Williams on Monday in Los Angeles and as usual Williams was pretty unfazed by the experience. “I don’t think I really need to learn much,” Williams said of their interaction. “Just build a relationship.”
