Arsenal Will Reveal New Gaffer Before World Cup

Arsenal’s board are confident of naming the successor to Le Professor Arsene Wenger before the World Cup starts in Mid-June.

The mastermind behind the 2004 invincibles has two more games remaining in charge of Arsenal and is leaving the club after a Premier League revolution spanning nearly 22 years.

Arsenal hasn’t announced any formal deadline to announce the successor to Wenger.

Lazy Fan Sports understand that Arsenal are yet to make contact with anyone regarding the role and both Lucien Favre and Carlo Ancelotti are no longer being considered for the role.

Former Barcelona serial winner Luis Enrique has been consistently linked with the club but there are concerns over his wage demands, whilst Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri remains of interest to a small minority of the Arsenal board.

Arsene Wenger end of an era

Patrick Vieira has been promised the Manchester City role in the post-Guardiola future which may sway his decision to stay in New York whilst another former Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta feels it may be too early for him also.

Monaco’s manager Leonardo Jardim is a possible wildcard for Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger is expected to have no hand in discussions to find his replacement although it is understood he is more than happy to help the club any way he can.

I believe Arsene Wenger’s reign deserves iconic preservation. I hope to see an Arsene Wenger stand in the Emirates stadium and a statue outside the ground for years to come.
