Tributes pour in as Kobe Bryant is killed in helicopter crash

According to TMZ, basketball legend and sporting superstar Kobe Bryant has died in a helicopter crash at the age of just 41.

The former Los Angeles Laker was reportedly in his private helicopter with at least three other people when it crashed into a Calabasas hillside on Sunday morning – there were no survivors.

Since the news broke, tributes from sports stars and fans alike have been pouring in as the sporting world mourns the loss of one of a great.

Just last night, LeBron James shared his fondest memories of Kobe Bryant with ESPN as he passed him on the all-time scorers list.

UPDATE: TMZ now reporting that the daughter of Kobe, Gianna Maria was also on board the helicopter. We hope to God this isn’t true.
