Bears season ticket holders offered full refund for 2020

All Chicago Bears season ticket holders have received a letter and been offered full refunds for the entire 2020 NFL season. Fans who decide to get refunds will keep the ability to renew their season tickets for the 2021 season.

With Illionois currently allowing sporting events to take place with up to 20% capacity it is slightly surprising timing by the Bears. However, it doesn’t rule out them being able to sell tickets on an individual game basis, or even bring back mini-season tickets for the last few home games if things clear up on the COVID-19 front.

Bears season ticket holders getting good service

It has to be said with all of the uncertainty surrounding the NFL season, and the recent spike in cases across the US, it is refreshing to see a team take a proactive approach that puts the fans at the forefront of a decision.

“Our hope is to build a model that provides the opportunity to see the Bears play this fall to as many season ticket holders as possible,” the team said in it’s letter. “We will communicate your options as soon as a plan is finalized.”

Clearly, we all hope to see the stadiums rocking with fans again this fall, but this seems like a genuinely decent way to treat Beats season ticket holders.
